Nice steady lap with lots of short shifting to stabilize the car & using 3rd gear in a few of the 2nd gear corners.

Might have a go tonight if the update doesn't take too long, that way I might finish my lap before the cutoff deadline..

I think this is more like the time to be aiming for, 1st sector gears seem bang on, (and most of the rest of the lap too).

A 7.20 was recorded in 2016 and this lap below went 10 secs better after that.

The 6.56 was made in a different version in 2018.

The 6.56 lap, says MkII so car might be slightly uprated.

Nigel must have sold him his patented 'crotch sweat eradicator' fan deflector plate upgrade, it stops the seat material from chafing too much.

It felt like it was a quick-ish lap, save for a few corners and lost a sec, maybe more, overall but looking back at the replay it was a fairly scruffy/ slidy lap.

    Will have to go again.

Nice time Nuts, yeah the replays do tend to show the car sliding a lot more than it feels. Been about 5secs faster than my PB, but lost it on the final couple of corners after the long straight

My 7.15 certainly not a Ring specialist (wait for it) but enjoying taking the beetle with a turbo around the German countryside.

Nice and smooth around the ring Carl, personally whenever I get near the ring I tense up and get stiff so my efforts there are a bit rough, did you have a beer or two to help relax first?
