How about either of or both the Alpines perhaps have a four week series where the pack could be mixed so in the series you have to drive either car two weeks out of the four the idea being at any given week it would have the old and the new Alpine on track at the same time, just a thought.

Thanks Jason just thought I’d add the idea to the list I will do some testing and host this series when there’s a gap and if it seems to work, nearer the time I could test on a Thursday.

After the fantastic BMW series and Carl being away late July do you want me to run a MX-5 Mini series with some Alpine testing on the days Carl is away after the KOTR?

Done some testing of the GR 4 cars today and was surprised by the results so far, the track was Yamagiwa my favorite track so i was able to get good data from it.

maybe after your alpine race Nigel we could try the gr4 with no tuning and bop on just to see how it lines up i don't think everyone will pick the fastest car just the car they are fastest in maybe.

All the drive train types are up near the front so it will be a case of practice and don't forget with different tracks cars would perform differently as well. With a series once you signed up you must pick a car and stick with it no swapping.

Would be good if drivers could replicate some of my times just to see what cars they are fastest in.

Good work Jason I will do some testing to check the gr4 cars maybe a couple of Thursday nights may be good with everyone using different cars

  18. Those times look very competitive with each other so it looks like the BOP is working.
Good stuff Jason, I'll see what cars of those I have and give them a go, possibly at a different track though?
I'm not familiar enough with yamammawagsatail to compare them well.

  19. Race hards at a guess Jason?

  20. Only had a couple of the cars from your list Jason so ran the others I have too.
All run at Nurburgring GP on Race Hard tyres.
Each car run for 3 laps only.

    Impreza 2.06.065
    Genesis 2.06.227
    Atenza 2.06.311
    Cayman 2.06.615
    NSX 2.06.622
    GT 2.06.782
    RC F 2.06.897
    Huracan 2.06.952
    Megane Trophy 2.07.095

Given more time the times will fall but hopefully this helps a bit.
Personally I found the Genesis and the Atenza too planted and easy to drive so I think either of those would run away with the championship.
The Impreza was horrible to drive but obviously blitzed everything else so I would look at knocking that one off the list.
As for my choice that I would like to race with, I'd choose either the Lexus RC F as it feels like a bit of a monster, or the Megane Trophy as its just nuttier than squirrell turd.
