    GT3 Club GT3 Club Admin

This is a GT3 Club for racers of all skill & experience levels. This club is made up of a group of friends & any public racer. We host an online lobby on a semi-daily basis, the specs & room settings are always the same so all drivers can have a consistent platform to improve on.

    --Clean driving & Race Etiquette-
The GT3 club is about racing clean & having fun, we expect you to fully understand racing etiquette, if you have any questions about etiquette please ask.

    --Driver help & questions-
If any drivers looking try GT3 or have any questions about our club you can ask here. I also have a 'base set-up' for every GT3 car in this category, if you would like a set-up ask & I will send you one or all of them via PSN. thnx! Here is a link to 'HaB Tuning'. This is GT3 Clubs source for GT3 'base set-ups'

    --GT3 Club 'Transfer system'
The 'transfer system' is put in place to help identify the more to less experienced players in the GT3 Club. This 'system' will also 'police' players & make sure on course incidents/accidents are handled accordingly. This 'ranking' has NO reflect on driver skill. The driver 'rankings' will go from 'novice' to 'expert', each level requires a player to obtain a certain level of race etiquette & respect to their fellow racers. If a driver incurs too many consecutive incidents involving race etiquette & clean racing the driver(s) will be demoted 1 level & will have to re-earn their status as a trustworthy racer. Transfers have NO effect on earning points, this is strictly for race etiquette control.

-How does the transfer system work? You are able to check some ones 'experience level rank' in order to prepare yourself for what type of driver you will be competing against( basically, how much can I trust this player?)... When a driver joins a GT3 Club event for the first time they are a 'novice', you will be required to earn 'transfers' in order to move up in rankings.

-How do I earn transfers? To earn 1 transfer you must finish ahead of at least 2 competitors of the SAME 'experience level'. If you finish ahead of 4, you get 2 transfers, etc, etc. All while keeping your racing clean!

    • Novice to Amateur = 5 Transfers.
    • Amateur to Expert = 10 Transfers.

    • Points Breakdown

    Lapped car Procedure Lead cars;

-- To insure safe overtaking between leaders & lappers, Leaders will be required to 'flash' head-lights before overtaking a lapped car. You can ONLY flash head-lights if YOU are a leader overtaking a lapped car. Make sure to check your control settings & have the ability to flash your lights on a comfortable button.

    Lapped cars;

-- To insure safety for lapped cars, ALL lapped cars who see an approaching car with flashing lights MUST yield/give corner. (Plz do NOT flash your lights if you are NOT a leader.)

-- Overall, as usual, ALL cars are required to exercise high race etiquette. Any lapped car who exercises poor race etiquette will be suspended one race.

    Pit Entry/Exit Procedure

    - Use ALL pit-entry/exit markings. As always, everyone is req. to exercise high race etiquette. .

    Under-classmen YEILD to ALL Upper-classmen

    • GT3 cars MUST yield to P1 cars at ALL times.

ANY failure to follow/execute these procedure(s) will result in a 1 race suspension & even a ban from the GT3 Club.

PC Class: OPEN to Novice & Amateur experience levels only.

    - What class is best suited for you?....

-- If you are in the Nov. or Am. experience level, you can participate in ANY class except P1.-- If you are in the Exp. level, you can NOT participate in the PC class.

-- PC: the Prototype Challenge class is for players who are looking or want to enter the P1 class in future events. Entering in the PC class provides players with the opportunity to earn transfers in the process of gaining experience in a lower powered LMP. This is to build experience in a LMP car & also display your ability to have control in the upper class'.

One of my favorite tracks! This one has a rational number of turns, that I am able to memorize lol :D

@Tijee, you're going with the GT-R this time?

    GT3 Club

Yes, I went with the SLS the whole last season and I wanted to change so I drive the GT-R for the March Cup, and the Vantage when the race is GTD compliant :)

I'm somehow shooting myself in the foot because I'll run only 4 races in each class, but well it's still fun.

ahh I see, yea I think the GT-R will do fine around here, but I will have to see for myself too since i'm going to race with 10hp less haha xD

It has most top-speed in class. Best choice for here.

Ok, you're just confirming I'm not a really good driver :D Every time I practiced with the R8 I had a strange feeling of better control but in one way or another I always ended my lap 1-2 secs off my time with another car.

    - I'm just making sure everyone knows the facts! As we all know these GT3 cars take some time to adjust or a certain car might simply suit your style better. The GT-R is just not natural for me, sounds like the R8 is just not natural for you, that's all!

The SLS will be undergoing a specs. change before this Sunday! the Z4,GT-R & R8 all req. set-up and driving style adjustment, now the SLS will as well!
  16. Tijee

    GT3 Club

Sure you're right, sorry I didn't mean to mislead anyone on any car. As I said I don't consider myself as a good driver so I'm 99% sure that at my level, any difference I notice between cars is mostly due to my (lack of) skills :)

Oh interesting, we've seen a lot of SLS those days ;)
  17. gurizzi

    GT3 Club GT3 Club Admin

Don't be so hard on yourself! LOL, u do just fine!

    - Yes, the SLS has had its day many times! This CUP seems to be REALLY SLS heavy, the most SLS' in any CUP.
So, we will change the characteristics of the SLS to suit real life a little more, also making it even with the other cars from a set-up, driving style and tire/fuel wear stand-point!

    GT3 Club

I just signed up for this event.

I hope I did it right, although I signed up for the PC class. Plus P1 is locked for me, since I'm a GT3 Club rookie, I'm gonna obey the rules and enter PC on that other reason.

My favorite P1 is the Bentley Speed 8, great at speed, great at handling corners.

I'll be online today, so yeah, I might see you if you have a lobby open today.

Oh btw, is there any means that you could include the standard R10 or is there gonna be an issue with those and the stealh models competing with a HP advantage?

If you can't include the standard R10, I'll grind up some credits for it. =)

EDIT: Fixed my entering post, hope it's good enough. =)

    - Hello, BOOJI

Glad you are in for this round! You did sign-up correct, but plz just type in the sign-up comment...

    (PC) - driver number.

The Stealth R10 is the only model allowed, this way the class is uniform and each player can run the correct identifying race number.

Drive clean and finish this event, that will earn you P1 Class approval!
