This is a GT3 Club for racers of all skill & experience levels. This club is made up of a group of friends & any public racer. We host an online lobby on a semi-daily basis, the specs & room settings are always the same so all drivers can have a consistent platform to improve on.

    --Clean driving & Race Etiquette-
The GT3 club is about racing clean & having fun, we expect you to fully understand racing etiquette, if you have any questions about etiquette please ask.

    --Driver help & questions-
If any drivers looking try GT3 or have any questions about our club you can ask here. I also have a 'base set-up' for every GT3 car in this category, if you would like a set-up ask & I will send you one or all of them via PSN. thnx!

    --GT3 Club 'Transfer system'
The 'transfer system' is put in place to help identify the more to less experienced players in the GT3 Club. This 'system' will also 'police' players & make sure on course incidents/accidents are handled accordingly. This 'ranking' has NO reflect on driver skill. The driver 'rankings' will go from 'novice' to 'expert', each level requires a player to obtain a certain level of race etiquette & respect to their fellow racers. If a driver incurs too many consecutive incidents involving race etiquette & clean racing the driver(s) will be demoted 1 level & will have to re-earn their status as a trustworthy racer. Transfers have NO effect on earning points, this is strictly for race etiquette control.

-How does the transfer system work? You are able to check some ones 'experience level rank' in order to prepare yourself for what type of driver you will be competing against( basically, how much can I trust this player?)... When a driver joins a GT3 Club event for the first time they are a 'novice', you will be required to earn 'transfers' in order to move up in rankings.

-How do I earn transfers? To earn 1 transfer you must finish ahead of at least 2 competitors of the SAME 'experience level'. If you finish ahead of 4, you get 2 transfers, etc, etc. All while keeping your racing clean!

    • Novice to Amateur = 5 Transfers.
    • Amateur to Expert = 10 Transfers.

    • Points Breakdown
    1st - 25
    2nd - 20
    3rd - 18

    Lapped car Procedure -

    Lead cars; --

To insure safe overtaking between leaders & lappers, Leaders will be required to 'flash' head-lights before overtaking a lapped car. You can ONLY flash head-lights if YOU are a leader overtaking a lapped car. Make sure to check your control settings & have the ability to flash your lights on a comfortable button.

    Lapped cars;

-- To insure safety for lapped cars, ALL lapped cars who see an approaching car with flashing lights MUST yield/give corner. (Plz do NOT flash your lights if you are NOT a leader.)

-- Overall, as usual, ALL cars are required to exercise high race etiquette. Any lapped car who exercises poor race etiquette will be suspended one race.

    Pit Entry/Exit Procedure

    - Use ALL pit-entry/exit markings. As always, everyone is req. to exercise high race etiquette. .

ANY failure to follow/execute these procedure(s) will result in a 1 race suspension & even a ban from the GT3 Club.

    CUP #5 -- Hints/Tips

    - Daytona RC is being featured in back to back CUP series do to an error I made during the last multi-class event at this course. This event will, of course, be dry the whole race!

--- The second video here is of a Prototype, obviously this is a GT3 ONLY event, but I would like everyone to take note of how crucial the 'Bus-Stop chicane' is. My advice is to make sure u don't LOSE time in that section, instead of trying to GAIN time. This will increase your consistency, and the Bus-stop chicane is NOT the place to try and save a crash!

    Hello, ALL !

    - I would like to address the current 'BoP' adjustments being made on the SLS AMG GT3 and GT3 Club's overall BoP philosophy. This is to explain how and why we balance the cars.

    - GT3 Club's philosophy is not ONLY to create realistic racing events, but also the most competitive and as close to professional racing etiquette as possible. Our Club's goal has always been to provide clean yet hard racing. This is achieved by all of the competitors understanding they must EARN each position on the track, you can race as hard as you wish all while respecting your opponent and doing it under control! (that's the definition of racing in our eyes)

    - GT3 Club's BoP system. -- How and why it works.

This is a quick re-fresh and explanation for those who may not already know.

-- The GT3 Club started just simply hosting casual public lobbies and ran our first CUP series running all cars at 1350kg-552hp. After many races on various courses and the cars driven by a broad range of players. The overall results of the cars performance in order was this...

    1. SLS
    2. R8
    3. Z4
    4. GT-R

    - GT3 Club proceeded to build our own BoP specs. and that's the ones we are currently using. The SLS is the hardest car to BoP by far. It (SLS) has great handling, power and tire deg. This makes for a difficult BoP to other cars.

    - In sportsCar racing, each track suits different cars, we have the same realistic effect in the GT3 Club.

    - When you think about driving the GT-R, Z4 & R8, you understand it will take an amount of both tuning and driving adjustment to get the car going well, NOW the SLS will join that group.

    Hello, ALL !

    - Final practice session open today! Open now ! --

-- In this CUP event we will do a rolling start. We are doing a rolling start do to the glitch that may or may not happen at this course.

    --- Start procedure:

    - Lead car leads the field at 50mph.

    - Lead car is allowed to start the race once they enter the 'Bus-Stop Chicane'

    - Race starts once the leader begins to accelerate after entering the bus stop.

    - Leader has the choice to start the race anywhere from the bus stop to the start/finish line.

    - Start zone: Bus-Stop Chicane to Start/Finish line.

And please everyone realize that you don't need to bunch up dangerously close for the whole warm-up lap, just close up in time for the 'Bus Stop Chicane'

Nobody wants to get damage before we even start!

Sorry but I'm going to have to back out of this one. I just remembered that the Indy 500 has a somewhat early start (11:15am my time). This is one of the few can't miss races of the year for me. I was looking forward to Daytona but oh well. Have fun guys!

    Hello, ALL !

    - This is the first time in about 20 CUP events that we have had less then 12 players signed-up before a race. There are a number of reason why ppl aren't able/want to make it to this event, so I'm going to make this a 'throw-back' CUP event! What exactly does that mean? ...

    - When GT3 Club started its CUP series we used to host them in public lobbies to gain more members. Since then, the Club has grown very fast and usually has a full grid as you know. So, this CUP event will be very interesting to say the least!

    - My advice for managing a public racer in the CUP event. Usually, public players are less experienced. If a public player is trying to make a pass on you, i think its a good idea to just give them the position, why?! odds are the players just want to make a pass, once you give it to them, they will most likely make a mistake and you will get the position right back. Also, this will limit the amount of potential damage u might get from an over eager player.

    cya on course!
  13. Hey guys I dont know if I can make it we had some pretty bad rain and flooding here in Oklahoma and our internet co. is having to do emergency repairs they said it'll be temporary I just hope they get it done in time :mad::(
